Questions

What people ask before they call

The questions that come up most, answered plainly. If yours isn't here, ask it directly — we'd rather answer it than have you guess.

  • Have you worked with clients outside India?

Yes. Our first international build was for a United States client — designed and delivered from Siliguri across a ten-hour time difference and roughly 12,000 km. Six service lines, seven pages, zero templates, and the full legal set live on day one rather than promised for later. His name and the live site are on this page.

  • How much of my working day can I actually reach you?

Yours, not ours. Regional clients are happy on IST; international ones set the clock and we work backwards from it. Our first US client was ten hours behind Siliguri and the working day was arranged around his — not a token hour of overlap at the edge of ours where nothing gets decided.

  • Why hire a studio in Siliguri instead of one closer to me?

The studio our first international client left was a great deal closer to him than we are. It sold him a template with his logo dropped on top. It looked fine and it sold nothing. Proximity was never what decided whether the work was any good — judge the build, then judge the postcode.

  • What does a project cost?

PrasAI quotes each project after a short conversation rather than publishing a price list, because scope varies far too much for one figure to be honest about all of it. Small, well-defined jobs are worth asking about — not everything needs to be a full build, and if it is not a fit we would rather point you somewhere useful than turn you away.

  • Do you take international work, and how is it priced?

Yes, as a separate track from our regional work, quoted in USD. We keep international availability deliberately limited so the engagements we do take get the same attention the last one did — not squeezed in around a queue.

  • How do I pay you from outside India?

International bank transfer, handled through Razorpay. Engagements are quoted and invoiced in USD, so the number you approve is the number your accounts team pays — no currency drift between the estimate and the invoice.

  • Who owns what you build?

You do. Ownership of everything we build for you sits with you and is written into the contract, not left as an assumption either side gets to interpret later.

  • Can you build to GDPR requirements?

Yes, where the build calls for it. If your users are in the EU or UK we build to those requirements as part of the work — consent handling, data collection, and the legal pages shipped with the site rather than bolted on afterwards. Our first international build went live with its full legal set on day one instead of a promise to add it later.

  • Are you actually building AI, or just using the word?

PrasAI builds and runs four AI systems, two of them live. Agri-Scan takes a photo of a crop leaf and returns a diagnosis from a live vision pipeline, with no signup — anyone can use it without contacting us. Striva reads recovery data from a wearable and adapts the day's training to it. Campus GPT is a model we trained ourselves that admits when a question falls outside its documents instead of inventing an answer; it is measured at 90% on that and still in development, so it sits in the lab rather than in the shipped work. Doctor Sync is a proof of concept and we label it that way rather than call it a product. Anyone can claim AI. Fewer will point at the ones that aren't finished.

  • Do you use templates or page builders?

No. Every system is built against the specific problem — no page builders, no starter themes, nothing reused from another client. The Eddelact build was six service lines and seven pages with zero templates. It is slower to begin and considerably cheaper to live with.

  • I already have a website. Is this a redesign or a replacement?

Usually a replacement, and often the reason people come to us. Our first client had been sold template work — the same layout every other client of that agency received, with a different logo on top. It looked fine and it sold nothing. If what you have is a stock theme, repainting it does not fix what's wrong with it.

  • How quickly can you deliver something I can look at?

Our delivery commitment is under 14 days from start to a live, production-ready deployment you can put in front of real users. That is a working prototype in production, not a slide deck or a static mockup.

  • Do I need to understand AI to work with you?

No. We start by learning how your business actually runs — where the manual work piles up, what breaks under load, which process everyone quietly does in a spreadsheet. The architecture comes out of that. If AI is not the right answer for a problem, we will say so rather than sell you one.

  • How do I know a claim on this site is real?

Every number here was measured against a running system, and where something is unfinished we say so — the Lab section exists for exactly that. When Campus GPT's refusal accuracy first came back at 0/10 we root-caused it to a prompt-shape mismatch, fixed it, and re-measured to 90%. The 90% is what's on the page, and the 0/10 is in this answer.
